ChannelFlip update

April 21st, 2008

Hi guys,

Just wanted to give you a quick update on ChannelFlip as we’ve had inboxes full of people asking - “Wherefore art thy new shows?”

We have been working like crazy behind the scenes to do a number of very cool things - redesigning the look and feel of our website, getting up and running in a new video production studio, hiring some new peeps and cutting some cool deals that will mean you can see ChannelFlip in all sorts of places. Unfortunately, we don’t have the hands to do everything at once and so we have had to put the shows on hiatus for a couple of weeks.

However, we are now just at the stage where we are going to be back up and running with a stonking amount of awesome new content - so stay tuned, the best is yet to come!

New Killing Time

March 12th, 2008

Hi folks,

New episode of Killing Time today, looking at the best way to maximise your drinks cupboard! You can find it, for now, at Killing-time.blip.tv. We are working to get it integrated into the ChannelFlip player, above, but the code is being a pain at the moment! Rest assured, we are also taking on board your feedback about the show to improve it.

We appreciate that our show schedule is a little slower than normal at the moment. Please bear with us - good stuff is coming, and more of it than ever!

Many thanks for your continued support,

-Wil

Enjoy your latest dose

February 25th, 2008

A new batch of shows is up today - Justin checks out Ratatouille on Discus, I get down and dirty with some alternative search engines on Unwired, and Katharine is underwhelmed by Conflict: Denied Ops in Play:Digital. Enjoy the new shows and don’t forget to leave us your feedback in the comments!

Today’s new episodes

February 14th, 2008

New episodes of all three shows up today. Weve been working hard on ‘em, so enjoy!

The Big 5-0!

February 11th, 2008

Wow! So today we hit 50 episodes of our shows, making for 150 in total. That is a fantastic number and I’m absolutely delighted that you guys have watched enough of our shows to make this worthwhile. We are working hard to make sure that the next 50 are very cool indeed - there is plenty happening behind the scenes here at CFHQ - so stay tuned!

Many thanks for all your support.

Back on MP4

February 7th, 2008

Hey guys, the Quicktime feed is now back serving MP4s after our brief, unsuccessful flirtation with MOV. Hopefully PlayStation and iPod viewers can now get their episodes back! Apologies for the disruption.

Unwired update

February 6th, 2008

Hey folks, new episodes of Discus and Play:Digital are up today, watch them above! For fans of Unwired, sit tight - the show will be up tomorrow with an on location report from the launch of a cool new device here in London today. It’ll be worth the wait!

Cheers, -Wil

February update

February 4th, 2008

Hey folks,

Just a quick note to say that today’s shows are all up, so go and grab them!

Apologies to everyone that has had a ‘mare with the switch to .MOV for the Quicktime feed. It seems like some people are having issues playing the episode back on some variations of the iPod - we are investigating. If we can’t fix it, we will be switching back to MP4 for your extended viewing pleasure!

Stay tuned to Unwired this week for some on-location coverage from a couple of cool product launches.

Thanks for your continued patronage!
