Lincoln Trail ADD helps local area governments and city halls dispose any unwanted, old, or obsolete equipment by recycling it in an environmentally safe and legally compliant manner. This will keep electronic waste out of the landfills.

To ensure the data on hard drives is destroyed, the following methods are used:
Physically destroy the hard drives using a hard drive shredder, or
Overwrite the data following the strict specifications of the Department of Defense (DOD 5220.22-M)
